So, I’m down to the final 12 weeks and feeling the effects of a low calorie restrictive diet. The upside of it though is that I’m seeing lots of changes in the way that my body looks and feels. The downside is that I’m having trouble thinking clearly and at times I’m extremely moody.
From the moment I cut out fruit, I noticed I tightened up all over particularly in my stomach area. Carbs are the enemy at this point which is why I’m only eating them after my workouts. My meals consist of vegetables and a lean protein if I’m not working out. It’s boring. It’s tasteless. Water intake is currently at about a gallon a day. But, it’s what’s going to get me the results I’m looking for.
I’ve upped my cardio to 4 days a week for one hour. My attitude has improved though towards cardio because now I can actually survive the full hour! Weights are getting more difficult to lift too. I’m still lifting the same amount and trying for heavier if I can.
My appointments have been made for every little thing you can think of to get glammed up. I also went for my first measurements for my suit this past weekend! At least with all of that done, I can have some peace of mind.
Mentally, I’m trying my best to hold it together. I’ve realized that sometimes it’s going to get the best of me. It definitely helps though to have a positive, encouraging support group around me though. Thanks to Bill and my fellow workout buddies for being such a positive muse in this difficult, but ultimately, rewarding journey!
Until next time!
