Music can be powerful and motivating for your workout but it can also be distracting. Make sure the music you choose gives you the power and energy to push through that extra rep or fight for that extra mile when you have nothing left in the tank. Don’t let the latest Adele album (although good) take your focus away from the purpose of your workout and on to that big fight you had with your girlfriend, boyfriend, sister, dog… you get the picture.
Music should fuel you, not distract you from your goals.
